600 year old wood – special edition “Antique Wood” Series III

600 year old wood - Thomann special edition "Antique Wood" Series III

In collaboration with the music store Thomann, we are continuing the successful “Antique Wood” bass series. In this third series we use oak wood that is around 600 years old and comes from a German monastery. The natural color and grain of the oak beams are impressive, which is why the “Antique Wood III” basses are made in a sandwich construction with an alder wood core. There is also a classic maple neck and flamed maple fingerboards.

The online bass magazine bonedo.de has written a great story with more information about the basses, which you can read here (german only): https://www.bonedo.de/
